Mr. Jakacki oversees the origination function of AMF. Prior to founding AMF in 2003, Mr. Jakacki was a Vice President at Putnam Lovell NBF Securities Inc., where he headed a team focusing on the structuring and execution of mutual fund commission finance programs. To finance these commissions, Mr. Jakacki helped structure and place more than $1 billion in asset-backed securities in the capital markets.
Until 1998, Mr. Jakacki worked in the money management sector of the Financial Institutions Group of First Union National Bank, which he joined in 1995. While at First Union, Mr. Jakacki was responsible for the structuring and financial analysis associated with debt instruments issued to asset management firms.
Prior to First Union, Mr. Jakacki worked for T. Rowe Price Inc. in its retirement services group, and in various research capacities. Mr. Jakacki holds a Master of International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College.
