Mr. McLeod joined AMF's management team in November 2006 as Controller. He is responsible for all audit and financial control functions including cash management, forecasting, and financial and tax reporting. In addition, he will be a key participant in the financial due diligence of AMF's current and prospective portfolio investments
Prior to joining AMF, Mr. McLeod was a Director in KPMG's Transaction Services Group in New York where he led M&A due diligence engagements for strategic and private equity investors, specializing largely in the asset management, brokerage and banking sectors.
Mr. McLeod also spent 2 years in Singapore at two technology start-up companies, in regional finance and corporate development roles, where he established the firms' financial operations and managed acquisitions through the Asia-Pacific region.
Previously, Mr. McLeod worked in KPMG's financial services audit practice in New York and Melbourne, where he dealt with banks, hedge funds and asset managers, including several SEC registrants.
Mr. McLeod is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) Degree from Monash University (Australia).
