Mr. McKay is the founder and Managing Partner of MCK Partners LLP, an FSA Registered independent advisory boutique with a strong focus on the fund management industry.
Mr. McKay has over 19 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to founding MCK, Mr. McKay was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and at Credit Suisse. He held a number of senior roles including head of the Investment Management Advisory Group at both Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. Mr. McKay has been involved in many significant M&A and IPO transactions in the asset management industry and has extensive expertise in listed fund raisings. From 1998 to 2005 Mr. McKay covered the European insurance industry at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) and subsequently Credit Suisse following its acquisition of DLJ.
Mr. McKay started his investment banking career at Kleinwort Benson plc. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from London University.
